Astilbe are full hardy perennials that produce fluffy plume-like flower spikes in shades of red, pink and white during the Summer months. They can grow to heights of 70cm and are very bee and other pollinating insect friendly.

They grow well in borders, planters and in particular damp bog gardens, beside ponds and in woodland gardens. They are perfect for planting with other shade loving plants such as Hostas, Heuchera and Astrantia.

With this listing you will receive 2 plants in 9cm pots from varieties such as Happy Day, Wonderful Day, Sunny Days as well as other Astilbe varieties. When purchasing multiples you will receive at least two different varieties.

Light Required

They flower best in partial shade but can be planted in full sunlight. If planting in full sunlight it will require more moisture. They don't like to be left for long spells without moisture.
