- TOUGH PLANTS - Clusia rosea is an ornamental houseplant that is extremely tough and easy to care for. Its stiff, leathery leaves are a dark olive green in colour and are said to be so tough, you could carve your name into them – hence the popular name Autograph Tree.
- FLOWERING - Its possible for Clusia rosea to produce lovely flowers that are relatively long lasting in delicate shades of creamy white with soft pink accents, however this only tends to happen in particularly warm conditions.
- CONDITIONS - Grown indoors as houseplants, they will cope with moderate light levels and some degree of shade. Water well, making sure to keep the soil moist at all times. Autograph Trees are hardy plants however, and can tolerate periods of drought.
- Please note: the decorative pot shown in the images is for illustration purposes only and is not included with the plant.

Watering Water when the top few centimetres of compost begin to dry, then water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain away. Do not leave the plant sitting in standing water, as consistently wet roots can lead to rot. Growth slows in winter, so reduce watering frequency during cooler, darker months.
Best Growing Conditions Grow in bright, indirect light and protection from harsh direct sun, ideally at around 18-26°C, away from cold draughts and sudden temperature changes. Use a good-quality, well-drained houseplant compost and make sure excess water can drain freely from the pot. Most houseplants perform best with moderate humidity and should be kept away from strong radiator heat.
