Watering Water regularly during the growing season and always keep the soil evenly moist but never allow the plant to sit in water. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between each watering and water sparingly during the Winter months.

Best Growing Conditions While in bloom, remove any spent flowers as they fade to help the plant conserve energy and allow the remaining flower buds to put on more growth. Regular pruning can encourage healthy development and keep the plant in shape. If necessary, repot into a pot 1 to 2 times larger in diameter than its current growing pot. Repot using a well draining, acidic potting mix with lots of organic matter, such as peat moss, pine bark, or compost. Avoid heavy soils with a high clay content.
