The Bromeliad Urn Plant, Aechmea fasciata ‘Primera’, features broad green leaves marked with silver-grey bands and a vivid pink flower bract. The Aechmea Blue Rain adds even more drama through its upright violet-blue and pink flower spike, surrounded by a sculptural rosette of green foliage.
Completing the collection is Peperomia caperata ‘Roja Grande’, a compact houseplant with deeply rippled, heart-shaped leaves in warm red and burgundy shades.
Bright, indirect light is best for these low-maintenance houseplants, away from the hot afternoon sun. Water moderately, allowing excess water to drain away. Keep the central cups of the bromeliads filled with fresh water. Occasional misting will help to keep the humidity up.
