Grow in a sheltered spot in firm, rich, well drained soil in full sun.

Water after planting, with plant food to prevent transportation shock. It's also best to water with plant food added during it's growing season to allow for a good crop.

Plant mid-March onwards, preferably covered with frost protection or a cloche for cropping in September onwards. Alternatively plant around July to grow over the winter for cropping in early Spring.
