The Ceropegia woodii is an evergreen tuberous perennial with long trailing stems that can grow up to 1m or more in length.

It produces small, heart-shaped, grey-patterned leaves with a purple underneath.

During the Summer months this plant grows lantern-shaped pink and purple tubular flowers 2cm long.

Light Required

This plant likes to have a good degree of light, but not direct sunlight.

Watering

It's important to water it regularly during the Summer, allowing the soil to almost completely dry out between watering, and never let it sit in waterlogged soil.

Best Growing Conditions

This trailing vine is perfect for planting in hanging baskets or in pots on shelves or window sills. It is a long-lived and fast-growing plant, and the sprawling vines can hang down several feet once they are mature.
