- Chlorophytum 'Variegatum' Indoor - Hanging Indoor Spider Plant in a 18cm Hanger.
- Chlorophytum comosum Variegatum has narrow, dark green leaves, about 45cm long, edged with white stripes. Small white flowers form in separate clusters attached by short stems that also bear small plantlets (baby spiders).
- Chlorophytum comosum Variegatum is a more modern and compact variety than Chlorophytum comosum Vittatum.
- A fantastic plant for cleansing the air in homes or offices and extremely easy to care for.
Chlorophytum require bright, indirect light. While it will tolerate some shade; this will slow its growth-rate and it may lose its stripes. Avoid direct sunlight.
Chlorophytum comosum has medium water requirements. A mature Spider Plants will develop tuberous roots that are used to store water.
Spider Plants grow best in bright to moderate indirect sunlight. Too much powerful and sustained sunshine can easily cause brown spots on the plant’s delicate leaves. The Spider Plants grow quite well in most temperate environments, so an average temperature of between 13 and 18 degrees is perfect. They also appreciate humidity making them a popular choice for bathrooms.
