Plant Aronia Berry Plants (Aronia melanocarpa) Chokeberry Add a fruiting shrub to your garden that is easy to grow. These are tougher deciduous shrubs which bear clusters of berries and good green foliage which turns a strong autumn color later in the year.

There’s Black Viking and Aronia Hugin – two compact, productive varieties that are well suited to fruit gardens, mixed borders and larger containers. The dark berries have a natural sharp flavor and are often used for juices, jams, preserves and cooking. Aronia melanocarpa is very hardy and easy to grow. It grows in sun or partial shade and will tolerate a wide range of soils. Once installed, very little maintenance is needed. Aronia Chokeberry Plants are rewarding choices for edible and ornamental gardens, with homegrown berries, spring flowers and beautiful autumn foliage.
