- A dazzling houseplant boasting thick, glossy, wavy-edged leaves in green and burgundy, each beautifully splashed and streaked with yellow, orange or pink. The upright leaves curl and twist dramatically as they grow to add to the year-round interest.

Place it on a warm East or West facing windowsill with a constant temperature of no less than 16°C, but not in direct sun.
Water freely between Spring and Autumn using tepid rainwater where possible, and allowing the pot to drain well after each watering. In Winter, reduce watering but do not allow the compost to dry out.
It likes moist air so mist the leaves regularly, or stand it on a tray of damp pebbles so the moisture can evaporate into the atmosphere.
