  • Common Box Hedging (Buxus sempervirens) is a timeless choice for creating a neat, evergreen garden. Its small, glossy leaves and naturally dense growth make it perfect for borders, pathways, and formal hedges, giving your outdoor space a clean, structured look all year round. It’s slow-growing and easy to shape, meaning less maintenance while still keeping everything looking sharp.

  • It’s also a very flexible plant, thriving in both full sun and partial shade, so it works in most garden settings. For best results, plant 3 per metre for a looser hedge, 5 per metre for a fuller look, or 8 per metre for a dense, formal finish. Most people go for 5–8 per metre to achieve that thick, established appearance more quickly.

  • All plants are carefully packed and delivered ready to plant, so you can get started straight away. With bulk pricing available, it’s a cost-effective option for larger projects—ideal if you’re planning a full hedge and want great value as well as a professional finish.

  • Please note: the decorative pots shown in the images are for illustration purposes only and are not included with the plant.

Plant in well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Keep watered while it establishes, particularly in dry weather. A light trim once or twice a year will keep it compact and nicely shaped.
