The Cornus 'Sibirica' is a deciduous plant that produces a thicket of striking slender red stems that become a bright crimson in the Winter giving it all year round appeal. During the Spring and Summer, it produces ovate lime green leaves and pretty white flowers. Its leaves then turn a reddish colour in the Autumn and bluish white berries form. This lovely dogwood looks stunning planted in groups, beside water or in Winter border arrangements.

To produce the best stem colour, it's advised to cut new growth back hard within 5-7 cm from the ground in March and apply a generous amount of mulch of well rotted garden compost or horse manure around the base of the plant.
