Grow delicious soft fruit at home with our Currant Fruit Plants (Ribes). Hardy, productive and easy to grow, currant bushes are a fantastic addition to fruit gardens, allotments and larger patio containers, producing generous crops of berries for eating fresh, baking, desserts, jams and homemade preserves.
Choose from Ribes 'Werdavia', Ribes 'Blanka', Ribes 'Witte Parel' or Mixed. These varieties produce attractive pale to white currants with a refreshing flavour and look fantastic when the clusters of fruit begin to ripen.
Ribes plants grow best in a sunny or partially shaded position with fertile, well-drained soil. Keep them regularly watered while establishing and during dry spells as the fruit develops.
Hardy and rewarding, Currant Fruit Plants are a great choice for enjoying fresh, homegrown berries year after year.
