  • If you want a dahlia that will flower its heart out all summer, Dahlia ‘Dahlegria’ is a brilliant choice. This variety with its colourful blooms and attractive dark foliage gives plenty of contrast to beds, borders and patio pots, flowering from early summer until the first frosts with very little encouragement.
  • The lush foliage makes the flowers all the more stand out, creating a display that’s just as eye-catching from far away as it is up close. It’s a great plant for adding colour to mixed borders and its compact habit also makes it perfect for containers, brightening up patios, balconies and garden seating areas.
  •  Like most dahlias, Dahlegria does best in a sunny location with fertile, well-drained soil. In dry weather, regular watering and feeding during the whole season will ensure the flowers keep coming. Removing the faded blooms every few days will encourage the plant to produce even more, giving you a display that lasts well into autumn.
  • The flowers are also good for cutting so you can have them in the house as well as the garden. If you are creating a colorful summer border or looking for an easy way to brighten a patio, Dahlia ‘Dahlegria’ is a rewarding variety that provides months of color and is sure to be a favorite year after year.
