- Erysimum Red Jep is a live outdoor semi evergreen flowering plant with a compact busy habit. This fragrant Wallflower shrub produces dense clusters of flower heads in shades of crimson, purple and orange from mid Spring into Summer. These attractive flowers contrast beautifully against the lance shaped dark green leaves.
- With their sweetly scented flowers. Erysimum Red Jep is loved by bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects. Wallflowers add a splash of colour to your garden when little else is in colour. This gorgeous perennial plant grows to a maximum of 70cm, with a spread of the same size.
- Erysimum are best grown in full sunlight in moist well draining soil but they can grow in a variety of soil conditions from poor to moderately fertile. They are ideal for growing in beds, borders and pots in coastal gardens, cottage style gardens and wildlife gardens.
- Wallflowers require to be water well before planting and until established but do not like to be overwatered. During the Spring, cut back to keep and help encourage compact growth.
