Our Firebird potted indoor real miniature rose plant produces lovely ruffled blooms in tones of peach, red with hints of buttery yellow. This pretty rose in a 10.5cm pot is the perfect gift for a house warming present, birthday and thank you gift or just a little something for that special someone. It complements other indoor flowering plants in particular purple Campanula.

Miniature indoor roses require bright indirect sunlight, too much shade will prevent them from flowering.

While in bloom, removing any spent flowers as they fade will help the plant conserve energy and allow the remaining flower buds to put on more growth. Use sharp pruners or scissors and trim the spent heads at a 45° angle. Once finished flowering remove any dead branches and give the rose a prune. Only take off about a third of the plant. This will help it grow back just as strong.

Due to the nature of indoor roses they will go through a dormant period at some point during the year. This is completely natural and nothing to worry about. Once out of its dormant stage it will start to flower again.

Best Growing Conditions

Best positioned in a West or East facing window that gets eight hours of sunlight a day. Indoor roses are thirsty plants and dry out quickly as they are grown in containers. Keep the soil moist but not saturated. Press your finger in the soil to check for dryness every day or two.
