If you want bright, vibrant colours in your garden, gazania bedding plants are a terrific choice. Their flowers are bright and daisy-like, and they come in a range of colours that make them pop out in borders, pots, and patio displays.

Gazania Tiger Mix is a great choice if you want bold, eye-catching colour in your garden. The flowers have a striking striped look in a mix of vibrant shades, creating a really lively display in pots, borders and patio planters.

These plants do best in warm, dry circumstances and love the sun. After they are set up, they don't need much water, so they are a wonderful choice if you want something that looks good but doesn't need a lot of care.

Gazanias grow in a compact way, so they look stunning in containers, window boxes, or along the front of borders. In the summer, their blossoms open all the way in the sun, making a beautiful spectacle.

Watering Water regularly after planting until the roots are established. Once settled in, the plant is relatively drought tolerant and usually only needs extra water during prolonged dry spells. Plants grown in containers will need more frequent watering than those growing in the ground.

Best Growing Conditions Grow in sun or partial shade in fertile, well-drained loam. Choose a position with good airflow and enough space for the plant to reach its mature size. Protect from hard frost and cold, drying winds, especially while young or when grown in containers.

Top tip

Remove faded flowers regularly to keep the plant tidy and encourage the longest possible flowering display. In colder parts of the UK, give it a sheltered position and provide winter protection during prolonged frost.
