Fill your garden with long-lasting summer colour with our Geranium Zonal Bedding Plants (Pelargonium × hortorum). These popular bedding plants have a neat, bushy habit and produce colourful flower clusters that look fantastic in garden borders, patio pots, window boxes and containers.

Choose from White, Orange, Bullseye Scarlet, Salmon, Bullseye Deep Rose or Bullseye Mixed. The Bullseye varieties are particularly striking, with bright flowers set off to great effect by their unusual dark foliage. Plant zonal geraniums in a sunny, sheltered position in fertile well-drained soil or compost. Regular deadheading will encourage fresh flowers and help keep your display looking its best thru the summer. Colorful, reliable and easy to grow, Pelargonium bedding plants are a classic way to create bright summer displays.

Watering Water regularly after planting until the roots are established. Once settled in, the plant is relatively drought tolerant and usually only needs extra water during prolonged dry spells. Plants grown in containers will need more frequent watering than those growing in the ground.

Best Growing Conditions Grow in partial shade to gentle sun in fertile, well-drained loam. Choose a position with good airflow and enough space for the plant to reach its mature size. Protect from hard frost and cold, drying winds, especially while young or when grown in containers.

Top tip

Remove faded flowers regularly to keep the plant tidy and encourage the longest possible flowering display. In colder parts of the UK, give it a sheltered position and provide winter protection during prolonged frost.
