  • These Gladiolus "Buggy" bulbs will offer you a beautiful and colourful summer-flowering kind that is known for its cheerful yellow flowers with soft tones. The tall, graceful spikes that carry the trumpet-shaped flowers add height and soft seasonal colour to borders, cottage gardens, and cut-flower displays.

  • "Buggy" is easy to grow and likes to be in a sunny position with good drainage. It settles in fast and has strong, straight stems that are perfect for adding height to planting ideas. The bright, happy flowers look well with greens and purples, which is why they are a favourite choice for mixed borders and summer displays.

  • These bulbs are perfect for planting in garden beds or for growing flowers that you can cut. They will provide you flowers that last a long time and look good from mid-summer to late summer. Each bulb was picked because it grows well and does well, so it will provide a vibrant splash of colour to your garden.

Best Growing Conditions Plant these gladioli bulbs during the Spring, around about late March to mid April in fertile, well draining slightly acid soil in full sun but they can cope in partial shade. These corms should be planted about 10-15 cm deep and 15 cm apart, with the slightly pointed end upwards and roots downwards. After planting, water well and keep gladioli moist, but avoid water logging the soil. They may need staking or netting to prevent them from blowing over. Inserting canes while planting helps avoid damaging the corms.
