  • The vibrant scarlet-red blossoms of Gladiolus "Traderhorn" make summer gardens look great. Each flower has a little white throat, which makes the colour stand out even more. The tall flower spikes stand out above the leaves, making this variety a wonderful focal point in beds, borders, and cutting patches.

  • This classic gladiolus thrives exceptionally well in full sun. It makes strong, straight stems that lend height and structure to seasonal displays. The deep red colour looks nice with darker purples, bright yellows, and softer pastels. This makes it a wonderful choice for both modern and classic planting ideas.

  • The "Traderhorn" flower blooms from the middle to the end of summer and puts on a dazzling show that lasts for weeks. This is a fantastic choice for gardeners who desire flowers that last. We pick each bulb because it grows well and blooms regularly, which means there will be a stunning show every year.

  • Light Required Full sunlight

    Watering Moderate watering

Best Growing Conditions Plant these gladioli bulbs during the Spring, around about late March to mid April in fertile, well draining slightly acid soil in full sun but they can cope in partial shade. These corms should be planted about 10-15 cm deep and 15 cm apart, with the slightly pointed end upwards and roots downwards. After planting, water well and keep gladioli moist, but avoid water logging the soil. They may need staking or netting to prevent them from blowing over. Inserting canes while planting helps avoid damaging the corms.
