  • Helenium ‘Strawberry Sundae’ is a really cheerful plant that brings warm, summery colour into the garden. The flowers come in soft shades of pink, peach and yellow, often with a darker centre, giving them a slightly blended, sunset-like look.

    Watering Water thoroughly after planting and keep the soil evenly moist while the plant establishes. Once established, water during prolonged dry periods rather than little and often, allowing the soil to drain between waterings. Container-grown plants should be checked more frequently in warm or windy weather.

    Best Growing Conditions Grow in sun or partial shade in fertile, well-drained loam. Choose a position with good airflow and enough space for the plant to reach its mature size. Mulch after planting and keep the root zone free from prolonged waterlogging, particularly through winter.
