Flowering in Summer. Foliage Spring and Summer. Fruiting in Autumn.
- FULLY HARDY - Hops which is also called Humulus lupulus, is an herb most famous for its use as a beer ingredient. With the bright colour design, this product can decorate your house perfectly. You can easily raise the plants thanks to its high survival rate.
- HERBAL USE - It is a great remedy for anxiety disorders and helps aid sleep and helps treat insomnia.
- COMES BACK YEAR AFTER YEAR - This is a fast-climbing perennial, bearing masses of large, yellow-green leaves from spring to autumn. The flowers borne on females can be used in dried flower displays.
- EVENTUAL SIZE - Can grow upto 5m in height but always best cut hard back to help benefit the plant.
Pick a location in full sun with 6 to 8 hours of sun each day. If you can, select an area that gets the most sunlight during the late morning and early afternoon. The sun isn’t as brutal at this time, and some shade in the late afternoon doesn’t hurt. Mature hops are frost hardy.
Water hops once or twice weekly, providing about 1 inch of water each time or enough so the top 12 inches of soil remains moist. Cover the soil with a 2-inch layer of straw or bark mulch to help retain soil moisture and prevent weeds.
