This pot contains three live hyacinth bulbs, pre-planted and already beginning to grow—perfect for placing on a windowsill, kitchen counter, living room shelf, or tabletop display. Indoor Hyacinths need to be kept in a well lit cool room that receives indirect bright light. If placed near a heat source such as a radiator can cause them to grow too quickly and fall over.
Water when the compost feels dry to the touch. Avoid over watering as this can lead to root rot.
Once flowering has finished, cut off the flower stalks but leave the leaves. This helps the plant store energy for the next growing season. The leaves will eventually wither and brown, which is part of the plant's natural cycle. Once this has happened, cut the entire plant back to soil level, and move the pot to a cold, dark space.
