- The Jasminum polyanthum is a twining climber with dark glossy green leaves and is much sought-after for its heavily scented white flowers. They appear en masse from pink buds in late Winter and Spring with about 300 flowers, flowering at the one time.
- This plant is ideal for growing in a conservatory where it can be used to cover an unsightly wall. It can also be trained onto a hoop, but if given something larger to scramble onto such as a trellis or bamboo cane structure it will cover it pretty quickly.

Watering Water when the top few centimetres of compost begin to dry, then water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain away. Do not leave the plant sitting in standing water, as consistently wet roots can lead to rot. Growth slows in winter, so reduce watering frequency during cooler, darker months.
Best Growing Conditions Grow in bright, indirect light, ideally at around 15-24°C, away from cold draughts and sudden temperature changes. Use a good-quality, well-drained houseplant compost and make sure excess water can drain freely from the pot. Most houseplants perform best with moderate humidity and should be kept away from strong radiator heat.
