  • The Jostaberry is a very vigorous growing self fertile fruit bush with an upright growing habit. It is a thornless hybrid cross between a blackcurrant and a gooseberry. It produces heavy cropping of large shiny black berries during the Summer. The berries are similar in shape to a gooseberry with the unique taste and vitamin content of a blackcurrant. This makes them very nutritious and tasty - ideal for making preserves, using in cooking or having with ice cream or yoghurt.
