- This variety has glossy dark green & silver variegated leaves in summer turning to that well know vibrant red colour in autumn, a very easy to grow plant which can be grown in full sun or shade and is fully hardy.

Best Growing Conditions
For the best autumn colour, site in partial shade or full shade. It thrives in any fertile, well-drained soil, in a sheltered position. Propagate by layering or hardwood cuttings. Pruning in early winter, can also be cut back in summer if need be.
