Pilea Moon Valley is a rare type of houseplant known for it's unique textured foliage. With it's deeply quilted, bronze green leaves and bright lime green veining that gives a cratered appearance, perfect for adding texture and contrast to indoor plant displays.
- Compact and easy to grow - Forms a neat, bushy mound reaching around 20-30 cm in height, making it ideal for small spaces, terrariums, or mixed planters. Fast growing and easy to care for, it’s well suited to beginners.
- Low maintenance indoor plant - Thrives in bright, indirect light with consistently moist but well-drained soil. Appreciates a warm, humid environment and so regular misting or placement near other plants will help it flourish.

Watering Water when the top few centimetres of compost begin to dry, then water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain away. Do not leave the plant sitting in standing water, as consistently wet roots can lead to rot. Growth slows in winter, so reduce watering frequency during cooler, darker months.
Best Growing Conditions Grow in bright, indirect light and protection from harsh direct sun, ideally at around 18-26°C, away from cold draughts and sudden temperature changes. Use a good-quality, well-drained houseplant compost and make sure excess water can drain freely from the pot. Most houseplants perform best with moderate humidity and should be kept away from strong radiator heat.
