- The Hemigraphis Snow White commonly known as the Purple Waffle Plant, is a real live evergreen air purifying mini indoor houseplant named for its rich silvery green and purple leaves with white veining that mimics a waffle design.
- This plant in a 6cm pot’s vivid and attractive foliage makes it the perfect gift for any house plant enthusiasts, though it does require some specific care, as it is sensitive to changes in lighting conditions and If you move the plant to a different location, it may take some time for it to adjust to the new lighting.
- To grow and thrive, this plant requires bright, indirect sunlight. Direct sunlight can be harmful to the leaves, so it’s best to place the plant near a window that receives filtered light or in a room with bright, indirect light. If the plant doesn’t receive enough light, it may become leggy and weak, and its leaves may lose their vibrant colour. Moderate watering is required. If the soil feels dry, it’s time to water the plant. But if it feels moist, wait a few more days before watering.
- It is best to repot the plant in the Spring or early Summer when it is actively growing. Choose a pot one size larger than the current one to allow the roots to spread comfortably. Select a well-draining potting mix, carefully remove the plant from its current pot, and set your plant in the new pot and gently fill around the roots with soil. Water well once potted, avoid fertilising during the winter months when the plant is dormant.
