  • Red Chicory Radicchio is a real favourite for adding colour and character to homegrown salads. Its deep red leaves and crisp texture come with that classic, slightly bitter flavour that works beautifully in salads, risottos and even when lightly grilled or roasted, where the taste softens and sweetens.

  • It’s a tough and reliable plant that grows well in vegetable beds, raised planters and larger pots. Radicchio copes better with cooler weather than many leafy crops, making it a great option for extending your growing season into autumn and early winter, when fresh salad leaves are especially welcome.
