GROUNDCOVER ROSE - Rose Bush Bonica is a bushy, spreading, small shrub rose bush that produces sprays of lightly scented, light pink, semi-double flowers around 6cm in width. LOW MAINTENANCE - This deciduous ground cover rose loved by pollinating insects in particular bees and butterflies, is very low maintenance and ideal for growing in a variety of locations including city, courtyard and cottage style gardens in patio pots, containers, rockery alpine beds or borders.
GROWING CONDITIONS - Rose bush Bonica can grow to a height and spread of between 50cm-125cm in full to partial sun in rich, fertile, moist, well draining soil. It copes in a sheltered or exposed sunny planting location in a variety of soil conditions.
ONGOING CARE - To prune, start by removing all dead, diseased, damaged, weak and spindly shoots, reduce strong shoots by about one-third and if they become too large and congested they can be renovated by pruning to near ground level, 10cm from the base in late winter
