• These Winter hardy salad onions are an easy to grow, vigorously growing variety that is suited for overwintering, growing to a height and spread of 30cm x 5cm (12in x 2in).


• This variety is fast growing and ready for Autumn planting now. Salad onions make a great filler in between slow growing veg like potatoes, beans or peas.


• Pull onions as required over the Winter and into early Spring. They generally take 6-12 weeks to mature. Best picked when they are still young and tender. The green foliage and lower white stems of these plants have a strong flavour, making them perfect for stir fries, curries, soups and noodle dishes. They are also ideal chopped up for sprinkling on top of salads or scrambled egg for extra flavour.
