• Salvia Amethyst Lips is an evergreen shrub that produces aromatic mid-green leaves and purple and white bicolour flowers during early Summer to Autumn. It is ideal growing in pots and borders and it is enjoyed by bees and other pollinating insects. This plant is an ideal addition to any garden but in particular cottage, coastal and gravel gardens.


• To prolong the life of this plant, it's important to prune it twice a year. Once around the end of May after the first shoots appear, and in early June. This hardy variety will only need protection in the presence of very severe frost.
