The Sansevieria cylindrica is an elegant, low maintenance houseplant that has smooth, leathery, spear-like foliage. As its name suggests, this plant has a distinctly upright habit. The minimalist, striking grey-green variegation adds to its appeal as a tough, air purifying plant for any stylish, contemporary home or office.

Light Required

Moderate to bright, indirect light, but can also adapt to low light conditions if preferred. It is happy in places with temperatures between 15°C and 23°C and as low as 10°C for short periods.

Watering

When watering allow the soil to completely dry out before re-watering. Water thoroughly and allow to drain freely. Don't allow the plant to sit in water as this will cause root rot.

Best Growing Conditions

If wishing to repot your Snake plant, Spring is the best time to do this. Repot your Sansevieria cylindrica into a pot filled with a peat-free, free-draining compost blend. Avoid re-potting it during the Autumn or Winter, as it is best for the plant, not to have their roots disturb at this time of year.
