• The Sansevieria Twister is a real live Indoor commonly known as a Snake Plant or African Spear Plant and is the most uniquely shaped of the Sansevieria family. • This Snake Plant does best in moderate to bright, indirect light, but can also adapt to low light conditions if preferred. It is happiest in places with a temperature between 15°C and 23°C but can cope with as low as 10°C for short periods of time. When watering, make sure the top two inches of soil is dry to the touch. Water thoroughly and allow it to drain freely up to twice a month, cutting down to once a month in Winter. Don't allow the plant to sit in water as this will cause root rot.

• If wishing to repot this indoor Snake plant, Spring is the best time to do this. When repotting, fill a pot with a peat free, free draining indoor cactus/succulent compost blend. It is best to avoid repotting during the Autumn or Winter, as Sansevieria do not like to have their roots disturbed at this time of year.

Watering Water when the top few centimetres of compost begin to dry, then water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain away. Do not leave the plant sitting in standing water, as consistently wet roots can lead to rot. Growth slows in winter, so reduce watering frequency during cooler, darker months.

Best Growing Conditions Grow in bright, indirect light and protection from harsh direct sun, ideally at around 18-26°C, away from cold draughts and sudden temperature changes. Use a good-quality, well-drained houseplant compost and make sure excess water can drain freely from the pot. Most houseplants perform best with moderate humidity and should be kept away from strong radiator heat.
