• Saxifraga Alpino Early is a delightful alpine perennial, celebrated for its pristine flowers that grace the garden early on. These star-shaped blooms, appearing from late winter to early spring, are held aloft by compact, evergreen rosettes, offering a refreshing and cheerful display when few other plants are in bloom.

• This low-growing rockfoil creates neat cushions, making it perfect for rockeries, alpine beds, troughs, and containers. It also shines at the front of borders or nestled in the gaps between stones and paving. Hardy and dependable, Saxifraga Alpino Early is a great choice for UK gardens, providing enduring interest in the early season.

Watering Water thoroughly after planting and keep the soil evenly moist while the plant establishes. Once established, water during prolonged dry periods rather than little and often, allowing the soil to drain between waterings. Container-grown plants should be checked more frequently in warm or windy weather.

Best Growing Conditions Grow in partial shade to gentle sun in fertile, well-drained loam. Choose a position with good airflow and enough space for the plant to reach its mature size. Mulch after planting and keep the root zone free from prolonged waterlogging, particularly through winter.
