- The Schefflera arboricola 'Janine' is a popular Indoor due to its creamy yellow variegated leaves and vibrant green stems. It has an upright habit and has a less vigorous growth rate to other Schefflera varieties. Their soft floppy rosettes of new growth are just as beautiful as the mature foliage and add another dimension to this easy-care houseplant.
Umbrella plants can tolerate bright but indirect light, not full sun. They will also thrive in low light conditions but growth will be slower and leggier.
Its important to water only, when the top 2 inches of soil are dry. Soak through and leave to drain, then allow to dry out before watering again.
Average household temperatures of 18°C to 25°C are perfect for this houseplant.
