  • Swiss Chard is a hardworking, colourful leafy vegetable that earns its place in the garden many times over. Grown for its tender leaves and crunchy stems, it has a mild, slightly earthy flavour that works beautifully sautéed, steamed, added to soups or used like spinach. It’s a great crop if you like picking fresh greens little and often.

  • One of the best things about Swiss Chard is how long it keeps going. Once established, it will continue producing new leaves for months, making it excellent value for space. It grows well in garden beds, raised beds and large containers, and also adds a decorative touch thanks to its bold foliage.

  • Please note: the decorative pot shown in the images is for illustration purposes only and is not included with the plant.

  • Light Required Full sun to partial shade

Watering Water regularly, keeping soil evenly moist to encourage continuous leaf production.

Best Growing Conditions Grow in a sunny or lightly shaded position in fertile, well-drained soil. Water regularly to keep plants productive and leaves tender. Harvest outer leaves as needed, allowing the centre of the plant to keep producing fresh growth.
