Best Growing Conditions
Onion bulbs with the tips just showing above the soil, 10 cm apart with 20 cm between rows. (Closer spacing will produce smaller mature onions) Protect during early growth if you have squirrels or pigeons in the area. Choose a dry day to loosen them from the ground with a fork.
