  • Yucca ‘Colour Guard’ is a really striking plant that adds structure and interest to the garden all year round. Its long, upright leaves have a bold look, with creamy yellow centres and green edges that stand out nicely and bring a bit of contrast to planting schemes.

  • It has a strong, architectural shape, so it works well as a focal point in borders, gravel gardens or modern-style planting. It’s also a good option for containers if you want something a bit more eye-catching on a patio.

  • In summer, it produces tall spikes of creamy white, bell-shaped flowers that rise above the foliage, adding extra height and attracting bees and other pollinators.

  • Once established, it’s very easy to look after. It’s a hardy, drought-tolerant plant that copes well in sunny spots and doesn’t need much maintenance, making it a great choice if you want something that looks good without too much effort.
